"What does ESM stand for?"

I get that question quite often from parents and students.

The ESM experience is customized to fit each of our students’ needs and desires. That is what ESM is about at a very core level. We want to create an environment that allows our students to achieve, thrive and feel empowered.

Our approach is simple and straightforward - we start by asking the tough questions; we dig deep to understand our clients, find out what makes them tick and then help them create a list of colleges that aligns with their ambitions, feelings and passions. Our job is not to push agendas or make choices for them, but rather to help each one of our students find their voice in the admissions process through their essays and personal statements. We want our students to share their stories, their brands and their lives with the colleges they choose.

Over the last ten years that I have been working with students from all walks of life, I have found that when you give a student confidence, support and the tools to be successful, anything is possible. As each year passes, and as another group of seniors goes off to college, I continue to run into people who are shocked at our positive results and at the schools our students are attending. For me, this is humbling; however, I know that ESM’s success is a result of staying true to our values.

So what does ESM stand for? I am not sure I can do it justice, but I can tell you that our passion at ESM is helping our students find their way through the college application process. That is why we exist and that is why we will keep working hard for each and every one of our students.
